On September 17, AnyProp opened its MLS Data API to qualifying brokerages and software vendors. The company had spent the previous two years building the service through 75 & Sunny Labs and working with a smaller group of early customers. The launch announcement marks the move to accepting a wider set of requests.
The API brings listing records from many MLSs into a common interface. AnyProp also works with customers on the source-specific steps behind those records: licensing, participant approval, feed operation, and display requirements. Those steps depend on the markets and the product. A brokerage’s public home search, for example, calls for a different approved use than an internal brokerage tool.
The launch release describes early customer feedback that shaped the product, including requests for an address search that can handle partial or misspelled input. Developers can read the API documentation. Teams evaluating a use case can contact AnyProp with the markets, participant, and application they have in mind.
